In the UK, when a Director is appointed to a company registered with Companies House, they must provide both a residential address and a service address. The residential address is the director's actual home address and is kept on a restricted register, meaning it is generally not visible to the public (except to certain authorities and credit reference agencies). The service address however, is the official correspondence address for the director and appears on the public register maintained by Companies House. Using a professional service address, such as ours, as your Director’s Service Address provides an additional layer of personal privacy and protection whilst ensuring you remain compliant.
There are 3 good reasons why it is good to have a Service address service for each Director:

| 3. Reduces the risk of unwanted mail or visitors to your home address. |
| 1. The use of one of two London E2 addresses as the service address for each director, which could be different to the registered office address. |

| 3. All official government mail, emailed to you once a week, if outside of the UK, which includes governing bodies such as Companies House and HMRC. (If documents are required to be posted we will charge Royal Mail postal rates plus 10%) |
| Notes regarding service: |
| 1. This service is charged per director and can not be used with multiple companies. Where a director has more than one directorship the service should be purchased for each company they are involved in. |
| 2. This service can also be used for Members of an LLP and Guarantors of a Limited by Guarantee company. |
| 3. The cost for this service covers a 12 month period and will be renewed annually |
| 1. This can be purchased as part of an incorporation package by selecting “Directors Service Address” as an additional service during the order process |
| 2. Import your company details by creating an account and then you will be able to purchase this as a service for your company |
All company formation agents, including ourselves, have a legal requirement under the Money Laundering Regulations to check Proof of ID and Address in respect of any service that includes address services. Do not worry, the majority of customers successfully pass our ID checks, with minimal impact. Upon receipt of your order we will contact you for further information. Please note that for address and other recurring services, as we do not have direct access to the ID used for the Companies House ID verification process, we have to complete our own internal verification relating to the ID and address of Directors and/or beneficial owners to comply with the required regulations.
