A certificate of good standing in the UK is an official document issued by Companies House, confirming that a company is legally incorporated, up-to-date with all statutory filings, and currently active. It is proof that the business is not in the process of being struck off the register and is used to verify legitimacy.
It is most commonly used by banks when opening international bank accounts or where a company is opening a foreign branch outside of the UK. It can also be used when a company is entering into a significant contract either within the UK or internationally. This service can be used in conjunction with the Apostilled Documents service.
